Long Play presented new products and work confronting the evolving role played by various objects—from skateboards and records to home décor and textiles. Modernism and the ethos of the youth crew era were paired off with clichés and Classical Greek expressions. Mixing high and low inspiration and references, the exhibition showcased Gluekit’s interest in unexpected juxtapositions, wordplay and pop culture.
